Irish Ambassador visits Qingga Mntwana Primary school

Qingqa Mntwana Primary school in Crossroads was excited to welcome Mr Colin Wrafter, the Irish Ambassador to South Africa, and his wife Aisling Burca on Tuesday, 9 September 2008.
The school benefits from a partnership between Khanya and Amawele - an Irish NGO (www.amawele.org) that facilitates twinning between Irish and South African schools. Through Amawele, Qingqa Mntwana has a partnership with Kildare Place School in Dublin. Amawele had organised the visit by the Ambassador so that he could see the work that both Amawele and Khanya are doing at the school and how Qingqa Mntwana has benefited from its link to Kildare Place.
